  • What distinguishes the Smart Gate from other gateways?

    Unlike conventional gateways, the Smart-Gate is manufacturer-independent.


    The Smart-Gate provides detailed, real-time monitoring of all key components in the utility room.


    Heat pump settings, such as heating curves, compressor output, setpoint temperatures, etc., can be adjusted in real time from anywhere in the world.

  • In what form will the smart gate be delivered?

    The Smart-Gate comes in a compact form as an insert component for the heat pump or in a matching E-Box for installation in the utility room.


    In the sct. heat pump module, the Smart-Gate is already permanently installed in the heat pump and only needs to be connected to power and the internet.

  • What data can the smart gate read?

    The following data, among others, can be accessed via the company's online portal:

    • COP value (Seasonal Performance Factor)
    • Heating capacity
    • Cooling capacity
    • Electrical consumption
    • Heat pump inlet and outlet temperatures
    • Outside air temperatures
    • System pressure
    • Compressor speed 

    and much more.

  • At what intervals can the data from the smart gate be read online?

    Normally, the smart gate measures data from the heat pump and connected devices every 15 minutes.


    For more detailed analysis, readings can be recorded at 5-second intervals over periods of 2, 3, or 5 minutes.

  • How many heat pumps can be controlled with one smart gate?

    The Smart-Gate can control up to 32 heat pumps simultaneously. This depends on how many additional devices (such as circulation pumps, valves, etc.) need to be controlled/monitored by the Smart-Gate.

  • What information does the smart gate send and how will I be notified?

    The smart gate provides notifications about:

    • Changes to settings,
    • the operating status of the heat pump, and
    • error messages or
    • system malfunctions.

    Users or authorized personnel can receive notifications via email or SMS and access them through the online portal.

  • How long is the recorded data stored online?

    Information and measurement points recorded by the Smart Gate are available online for a period of 2 years.
